Albert (Al) Case has studied autosuggestion and hypnotherapy for more than 30 years. He began his studies in the 1970s at Niagara University, and continued those studies through his tenure at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received his bachelor of science degree. However, although an avid hypnotherapy practitioner, he did this only as a sideline until he himself suffered a stroke in 2008 when, during his convalescence, he observed firsthand the amazing power of autosuggestion. He now dedicates a substantial portion of his efforts to teaching and practicing hypnosis and self hypnosis techniques.
